Well….he’s done it! Kenny McKinstry has won this Triton Showers Lurgan Park Rally, making it his 10^th Lurgan Park victory. Eugene Donnelly was fastest on the last stage, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap on the all conquering Kenny. Denis Biggerstaff was 3^rd. Belgian Patrick Snijers 4^th. Kenny McKinstry steered his Triton Showers backed Subaru into parc ferme after that final 8th sta^ge, and his quick comment was "Glad its over, I enjoyed it, but it was difficult, very slippy, tough and the competition was very close". Eugene Donnelly said "A great day, this is a fabulous car". Denis Biggerstaff said "I was quite happy to hold my place for the final stage. Apart from the slight off I was stupid earlier on, on stages 5 and 6 I was on intermediates, and everyone else was on slicks". Patrick Snijers was disappointed to only finish 4^th, but said "I enjoyed it for sure, one small mistake cost me 10s and I knew there would no win this year – now I have to come back again!"

Group N goes to Niall McShea after a brilliant run – Niall saying "First finish this year, maybe I’ve broken my duck and it will rub off in Australia in a couple of weeks time". Richard Hogg did well to finish 2^nd in gpN. Dickie Curran 3^rd.

Keith White had a great run to win the 2 wheel drive category from young Glenn Wilson, with Garry Jennings having to be content with 3^rd.
