Kerry
Single Stage
this Sunday boasts Johnny O’Sullivan as No.1 seed in the Banna
Beach based event. Ed Synan, Tom Randles and Anthony O’Halloran
are just three from the 150 car entry who will be trying to deny
O’Sullivan his fourth victory the event.
The Top
Part West Coast Championship
reaches its climax on this Sunday’s Banna Beach event. Stephen
Bird leads the points on 61, with Sean Lyons on 52, Allen Treacy
and Shane McCarthy are both on 43. Tim McNulty has 42 and Patrick
Elliott 40. The best 4 from 5 scores count, so the series is
still fairly open.
The Ford Ka
Championship
has its final counter in Kerry as well. Gerry Keyes is making a
comeback after injury, to try and keep his points lead, his
closest pursuers being David Lyons and Kenneth Mulvaney.
Newry and
District Motor Club

Mourne Rally run in the opposite direction to normal. The event
will start and finish from the Mourne Country Hotel, with Norman
Armstrong, Johnny McKenna and Michael Erwin the top seeds.
Photographer
Paul McIlroy
